News from the Nest…

As the UK celebrates National Bird Day 2018 we are very excited to announce we have installed Nest cameras in two of our bird boxes on the farm.

They have yet to be re-occupied, but with Spring nearly upon us, we’ll be keeping our eyes peeled and continually watching the live feed in the hope we’ll see some friendly faces very soon.

As part of our promise to be 100% Green, wherever possible we work in tandem with nature to create a symbiotic relationship with the environment and wildlife around us. We leave uncultivated areas along the banks of the River Brue which runs through our farm. This encourages wildlife and wildflowers to flourish. It’s not uncommon to see lapwing birds, herons and the occasional kingfisher lurking around the trout pools.

We can’t wait to welcome some new guests to the farm, the team have been guessing which species will take up residence first and have made the live camera feed available for you to view below – keep an eye out, take a screen shot if you see a newcomer and let us know!
