After 53 years serving the dairy industry Nigel Pooley and his masterful nose that we insured for over £5 million has handed over the cheese-grading iron to our new Technical Director Diane Cox, a much-loved colleague and friend who has been shadowing Nigel for over ten years.

From a Somerset pre-school farm girl to a successful female cheese grader, Diane is only one of a handful of women in the UK to fulfill the same role. Replacing Nigel will be no easy task, but Di’s wealth of experience from her past ten years with Wyke Farms will no doubt enable her to ensure our cheese and butters are of the consistent high quality our customers have come to expect. To us her nose is just as valuable as Nige’s and we wish her all the best in her new role!
