Time: 25 minutes
Preheat the oven to 180 fan/gas 6
Grease and line a baking tray with baking parchment
Unroll the pastry.
Spread the cream cheese over the pastry and season with a little salt and pepper. Add a layer of ham and a layer of cheese slices.
Roll the pastry tightly to form a spiral of all the ingredients and slice into 1-inch sections. Lay the spirals flat onto the baking tray and lightly brush with a little beaten egg. Sprinkle with more grated cheese.
Bake for 15-20 minutes or until the pastry is cooked and the cheese is melted. These can either be served immediately or can be made ahead and kept in the fridge until ready to serve.
