Wyke Farms Celebrates Young Talent

We’ve been celebrating here on the farm, after our Brand Manager, Lucy Francis, picked up the award for ‘Young Business Employee of the Year’ at The Somerset Business Awards last week. Since her employment in 2015, has made a significant impact on our family-run business, always going above and beyond at both a professional and personal level.

In front of nearly 400 influential business professionals, the 2017 Somerset Business Awards were announced and celebrated on Friday 20th 2017, at the annual celebratory dinner, hosted by Alex Lovell – BBC News presenter and TV personality,

Lucy was one of three finalists put forward for the award, open to an individual aged 30 or under and sponsored and judged by Somerset-based international shoe manufacturer experts, Clarks.

Since becoming a member of Wyke Farms’ team, Lucy has shown serious ambition and professionalism to help move the needle for both the company and her community. At the age of just 24, she has shown the intelligence and charisma to move the needle in her role as Brand Manager and be a true valued, member of the Wyke Farms family. Well done Luce!
